i know.
i can't wait to wear face paint, lol.

tresfleur- go to a transfer session, it's really tailored to transfer students. I've been to Discover USC for two years in a row and it's pretty much all about the freshmen. But it's also good if you really want the feel of the campus, I suposse, bc the band come out and it's this whole big thing.

^ That sounds neat. Yeah I just got off the phone with USC. They wouldn't let me make a reservation for Discover USC because it's for freshmen only. So much for that. lol

You don't have to get a new one.

Sorry for giving you the wrong advice earlier, lreds4life. Woman.Of.Troy is right. You don't need a new one. The lady at USC found me through my old ID.

If you were accepted last year, but didnt go and are applying again, you dont need to make a new usc id and such. Just fill out transfer update form and send it in. Also you dont have to pay again

I got my Part I confirmation letter yesterday, and it has my new ID on it. So I have to delete it now? Woman.Of.Troy, how did you find out? Did you call USC and ask? Because I was thinking of just following through with the new ID.

So many questions, and it's still so early in the application process. lol

When I called they told me they wanted me to keep my first USC ID bc if I am accepted that will be my official ID. Plus, the school prefers not giving out multiple numbers to one person bc they might confuse your application with another one you've already started and think that you did not complete it.It's just too much of a hassle for them to kee making up numbers and too big of a gamble for us to input information that may be different so many times. So try to call and clear it up so there's no future misunderstandings and update your first account with your new email and college you're coming from etc., as opposed to high school info.

How do I obtain a USC ID or check to see if I have one? Admissions said they will send me one when I get my confirmation letter, but once I received the letter, there wasn't one on it.

usc24- You would only have a USC ID # if you previously applied, or started to apply by registering and you were given the number. If you don't remember, you can always call up and ask them, tho they may require you to tell them certain info. to confirm you're who you say you are.

Otherwise, just go here: https://camel.usc.edu/admapp/Default.asp and on the right side it asks 'Is this you first visit?', press Enter to begin your application. Once you provide the basic info. USC will send you a hard copy of their application with customized labels that have your USC ID # on it. They may also send you an email and the # would be the line next to or right after your name.

An application update is not a guarantee of re-admission but rather a
request that your original application be evaluated for admission to a
subsequent term. An application update may be requested within one
year of the original semester of application. (Example: You originally
applied for the fall 2007 semester, and you wish to have your application
updated for consideration for the fall 2008 semester.) No new
application fee will be required. You must complete questions 1
through 14 (graduate applicants do not need to complete questions 10
and 11) and sign and date the Application Update Request Form."
No, I dont have to pay again lol
