wow this thread blew up today! serves me right for going to UCLA today.

seriously, i went and sat in a lecture and played on campus and i guess if i get rejected from USC then i could tolerate going there, but i really want to go to USC. based on the way my life is going though, i'm not feeling all too confident about old 'SC though.

ps-status is still the same since 4/15.

Could any OOS transfer students at USC help me please! I plan to apply for transfer to USC (entering in fall 2009) from out of state. What kind of financial aid and merit-based scholarships can OOS applicants expect? My EFC is
$7000. Thanks a lot for any information!

bluelake- You would be getting as much money as an accepted in-state applicant. It doesn't matter. USC meets 100% of financial need but not 100% of that are grants and scholarships, which would be ideal, of course.

Mixtec: My EFC is $7000. I have the impression that students transferring to USC from colleges in California get better financial aid, but wonder about the finaid package for OOS transferring students. Good luck on getting in!

WOT - that's awesome about the finaid... the fact that they cover 100% of need, though hopefully only a small amount is loan-based.

ok, so I feel kind of lame for asking this, but, seeing as I am applying for film, would anyone like to see the first short film I made? it's on youtube and I would super appreciate any criticism, constructive or not. if there is interest, I will post the link.

BlueLake - The only extra aid that Cal residents get is CalTap. That's it.

Gosh I just took 2 midterms last week barely. I have 4 weeks until I take my finals ahh. U guys are lucky that it's finals for you. I wonder if Annenberg will ask me for Spring grades, then that'll mean I'll find out even later.

Anyone watch SC football? I'm like the biggest SC fan and I can't wait until next season. I try to make it to a couple of games every year and each time I go I always have the best time, I live for those games. I just went to the Trojan Huddle last month and it was sooo awesome! I got the starting O-Line's autographs! That was a sweet day.

Oh I just joined the facebook group guys! Now I wanna join the USC student body.

thanks folks. here it is --> YouTube - Music Video/My First Video, "Tyler" by The Toadies

the assignment was for a music video. i chose a song from my youth that I liked and was pretty sure that few had heard.
remember that it was my first! but please log on and leave comments, no matter how harsh! i'm pretty harsh on myself as it is.

p.s. youtube's compression req's are harsh!
