I received the package today. And yes, you will find that I posted in the '07 thread, but that is because I got it, had to withdraw for reasons beyond my control and go through this lovely process for a second time. Now I have decided to extend the torture by applying to an Ivy League college. If I get it, this will be a difficult decision.

nitro-this is going to sound insane as hell, but what time did your status change? and also because i'm lazy and looking at cookingware is way more productive than searching the thread, care to re-share your major/gpa?

ksbr27- It changed sometime after 4pm today (pacific coast time)
Applied to marshall, 4.0 gpa for required classes for major. 3.8 gpa overall.
i live in cali, so when the package comes this week. I'll let u guys know good or bad.

You will never believe this.. i cut and pasted my status update few post earlier. i didn't type that. i went back to look at the status change, and it changed back to we are reviewing your application. may be a glitch, something else to talk about on this thread. i will wait by the mailbox.

Nitro, the exact same thing happened to me way back on the last week of March. My status actually changed to the "acted on...decision has been mailed" message, stayed like that for a whole day and then switched back to the "currently reviewing" one. Weird stuff...

Woman of Troy - Seriously. There's like a little family of Annenberg babies here. And think we're all girls.. any guy Comm majors out there? In my entire life, I have only come across 2 guy Comm majors. One is in one of my classes this semester, and the other is this awesome friend of my Aunt who's like 50. (EDIT: Anyone know the correct way to punctuate this? Should it be friend of my Aunt, Aunt's, or Aunts?) My brother pointed out to me that about 90% of beauty pageant girls are Comm majors. I started observing this and it's SO TRUE. Hilarious, embarrassing and weird at the same time.

lasofthepirates - You're right, they're not vegan. I just looked at the box and they do contain those things. And the reason I keep saying I'm a vegan/vegetarian is because I'm mostly both but also not either. I eat fish and eggs, but no meats and other dairy products. I'm not anal about a little dairy in foods like the bacon strips, but I don't drink milk, eat cheese, cream, etc.

ksbr - Mmm those sound YUM. I've only just been introduced to them, so I'll have to check out what else is good besides the fake bacon. Their fake sausage is the only other thing I've tried, and is not bad, but it's not to die for either. PS. I've watched like 3 episodes of the Ace of Cakes. Such a cool job to have

It's a pretty thick packet in red with the school's seal printed on the front. Inside there was a neat "certificate" that says you've been admitted to USC with all the rights and privileges. Aside from the acceptance letter and a few other pages of information, there were two booklets in my packet. One of them was an overall booklet about USC, another was a booklet on housing at USC. Everything felt very nice and expensive. This was for Viterbi btw, I've also received other booklets and even a USC USB drive labeled "V-Key". I'm not sure if it'd be the same for other colleges/schools, but the general acceptance packet should be pretty much identical I imagine.

ksbr27- Haha I love Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I think I'm going to put that on my to do list once finals are over next week.

nitro23- Do you have any work experience or internships in business? I'm just curious because I have almost identical stats as you but I barely have a background in business.
