Pre-Req: all except for Calc and Acctg 2, which will be done in Spring
EC: Sife, Alpha Gamma Sigma, Deans List, volunteer stuff, high school sports
Work: intern @ pharmacy
Legacy: Dad and brother both went to USC
Applying to: still deciding between Marshall or Public Policy
2nd major: Econ
current school: 35 units @ Pasadena City College, 9 @ Glendale City College

need help please... I want to transfer to USC for Fall 08 (I will hopefully be entering USC as a Junior). I Just need some help with the process. How do you know what is transferable and not?

I am from NY and I have no legacy. My gpa was a 3.68 freshman year, and hopefully that will go up. What are my chances? And when do I have to start applying? Also, if accepted what type of financial aid package do you think I can expect as a transfer student with an EFC around 13,000?

completed all my prereq's
headed to Marshall
no legacy
almost a "free ride"

lol well i just didnt think itd be worth posting in here if nobody's going to evaluate the stats. o well:

Work: intern @ IT place, freelance IT work, working on intern at investing firm

but why are u doing econ as ur 1st choice instead of marshall?

how do you know what your transferable credits / gpa are?
I don't go to a UC or a CC, so that may the problem.

im really worried about my application, i think its fairly weak especially considering polisci is quite a popular major... i was wondering if anyone knew if we're supposed to include high school EC activities as well? (school related and non-school related)

yeah u should include ur high school ECs, and dont worry about ur app, i heard its pretty easy to get into USC's college of letters & arts as long as ur gpa is above 3.5

Work: 72 Degrees A/C & Heating-Administration department. Also, I worked at Mervyn's when I was in high school, should I include this in my app.?

I've been working my butt off to get into USC because it is my dream school. I just hope I write stellar essays, any of you guys have started on them yet?
My second semester at Saddleback I took 17 units and achieved a 4.0, that was a tough semester but I got through it. Lastly, are any of you guys going to fill out the application thats due in a couple of months? Good luck everyone!!
