*types in a quick defensive post---then thinks of the better option and leaves without hitting submit*

Hi guys, I have a question (I am applying next year)...
Who reads the applications for transfer students? Is it the regional representative from your hometown state or the regional representative of where your current college is located?

Transfer admissions aren't done by region.

I emailed the admissions officer listed as serving my region on the Penn website, and she wrote me back saying that, though she would pass my message along, transfer admissions aren't assigned regional admissions officers.

Theory: anyone without a PIN isn't getting a decision this Friday.

Not that that's what I want by any means, seeing as how I'm one of the ones without a PIN, but I'm thinking that's most likely the case. Doesn't mean we're rejected, just means we weren't automatic accepts or rejects.

Update: I just called and they said that all of the PINs were in the mail, in route to our mailboxes :-) So everyone should receive it before decisions are released on Friday.

The woman I spoke with also confirmed that batch one is released Friday after 5. Batch 2 is the next Friday, and so forth.
