For anyone who applied CAS, just got off the phone with an EXTREMELY nice girl who was able to give me a heads up on stuff.

I called originally just asking if decisions would be up by this week, because I have to go about getting airfare back to Syracuse from New Orleans. She said that SOME decisions have been made, but will be rolling now until I believe she said, June 15th. She said that since people are anxious to hear before the May 1st deadline that she would be more than happy to provide me with a decision over the phone, granted my decision had been made. Although mine was not in the first batch of decisions, she did she say to call back in the next few days. Again, very helpful girl.

So, for those of you in CAS, if this is something you've already known, please disregard and I apologize for wasting your time, while I sit here listening to Bruce Hornsby on repeat.I sent my application shortly after the March 15th deadline, which is most likely why mine is not in the first batch. If you want your decision, they are giving them over the phone at this point. Good luck everyone!

Thanks for the update stewartudall. Don't worry about "wasting anybody's time" here; we're all looking for any new info at all.

I also called ILR and external ILR transfer decisions will be made when the committee meets either late this week or next week

That doesn't sound right but that's what I was told by an ILR counselor.

I'm applying to CAS as a junior history major. The woman said that decisions for juniors would take a bit longer because in addition to being accepted by the admissions committee, the application needs to be forwarded to the actual department itself and the chair must approve for the transfer to be accepted into the major.

i just talked to the admissions office, and they said that they anticipate to make all decisions by the end of april. (this is hotel btw) I hope this means we'll get letters by the end of this week!

I haven't called her yet. I said I'm nervous and she emailed back her number and said not to worry..

I dunno if it's good or bad..geeze..I'm too nervous to call, lol.
