Cornell Application Status
To all those who have applied to Cornell for 2008 have any of you been able to access your application status online? It says to check back after April 7th. I'm getting a little nervous I just want to make sure they have my stuff!

but they say that they are not able to update it right now due to large volumes of applications...

Why on earth would this somehow be "a bad sign"? If it hasn't been updated, it hasn't been updated. Nothing to do with "signs".

They said they're, "receiving a large volume of applications." Larger volume of applications means a more selective year.

From what I understand, the admissions offices are using a new system of some kind, and like all new systems it has some hiccups to work out. I think it's to be expected, though. Maybe that makes you feel better... but maybe not, haha.
