yes gl
they said these were 2 of the 3 options to send in grades
"An official transcript is preferred, but an unofficial document is acceptable"
"The grade report your college provides you is also acceptable for admission purposes"
So I can print out my grades from my college site and send them in? (They don't show up as final yet) or do I have to get an unofficial transcript from the school?

you can print them out and then fax them there for the quickest action. but you'll need to send them an official copy too. they will use the unofficial fax to make a decision and just use to officials to verify that the unofficials weren't altered or w/e. and for the fax, remember to use the cover/closing sheets on the admission & fin. aid site.

if you don't want to do that you can go to like office max or office depot or w/e one is near your house and fax it there. i did that cuz i don't have one either. it costs like $1.75 per page though :/

but 1st class mail could work too, whichever is cheaper or easier i guess

anyone have a counselor that they would recommend? i want to ask about my app to see if they can give me a little more info than the website statuses are giving me and my counselor has never returned my calls or emails, so that's why i'm asking.

My friend emailed a different counselor because ours wasn't responding to calls/emails. However, I suggest you don't do that Marco. LOL my friend's email to the different counselor was actually forwarded to our counselor, and our counselor ended up having to answer his questions; rather angrily.

lol got that message after i sent the email, however, he just wrote back and someone a few weeks ago said it and i'm going to restate it...MICHAEL GULOTTA IS AWESOME!

here's what he said:

Marco,

Unfortunately, I will be away from my work computer until Monday, so I won't be able to log into the system and check your status. It is true that for many students, the statuses listed online have not changed in quite awhile, and I would imagine that would cause some frustrations. It is true that we expect to notify the remaining transfer applicants of final decisions by mid-July, so although the wait has been very long up to this point, it should not be too much longer. Right now, we are making sure that all spring grade requests have been answered, and we are using the spring grades to help us determine our final decisions. If we requested spring grades, we did so for a reason, and since a crucial component of the transfer process is preparedness for intended major, we are working closely with the different academic departments to put the final pieces of the puzzle together.

When I return to the office on Monday, I can give you a more specific update on your status, but if Oasis says that the spring grades have arrived, I would imagine that my message will be very similar. Regardless, I will let you know. And I apologize that you have been unable to reach your regional counselor. Hopefully, the information I provided has provided a little more clarity.

Thanks for your patience,

Michael Gulotta

even though i won't get any info until monday, it is really nice and reassuring to hear something like this from a counselor. it also makes me feel a little better because i applied at undecided and when they first got my spring grades the only thing they asked me was if i took an english II class. so hopefully that's all they are looking for! we are down to the last 2 weeks!
