USC... im kind of disappointed

First of all they listed my class level as a sophomore...I'm a junior.

Also, they haven't given me my finaid yet so I'm not sure whether I can go there at all.

What's more is I went on a tour yesterday and may I say that they're campus is ugly. There is construction everywhere and it's not as cute as the other schools I've been accepted to.

I don't know if I want to go there anymore...I'm I being dumb?

Don't be distraught about your class standing. Most accepted transfers, in fact, are listed as a year lower. This is mainly because final Spring grades have not been processed for all people.

Most accepted transfers on these boards received their financial aid package anywhere from 3 days-1 week. Since financial considerations are very important in electing a college/university, I suggest you call and explain that you would like your financial aid package as soon as possible. They will prioritize your request if you take the time to call. I had a friend in your situation who did so and received her package the very next morning.

The construction sites and machinery obstructing the path to classes will be cleared out beginning early August for the school year. We were assured this at orientation.

No, you're not being dumb. You just haven't done your research and need to stop being passive with regards to your education.

I suggest you make some calls. Truly.
