I don't understand USC

Okay when I started community college I met people who got into USC and UCLA and this made me feel that those schools were extremely easy to get into, why? Because those people had GPA's of 3.3-3.8...So I saw myself as a 4.0 student and this took so much pressure off of me...another thing is that these kids were not involved whatsoever...and I am. So now Im in college and Im taking Calculus and Im starting to panic....I have a feeling I might get a C (considering that I failed my first test and am showing no urge to improve) and because of that C and laziness I feel like USC is done...but wait, how did all these idiots get in?

Maybe it's the major? I am Business Admin but Im very sure they were too.

What should I know about transferring to Marshall before I jeopardize my grades?

Losing hope here!

BTW, I am a freshman with a 4.0 (from Econ 102, Philo, Socio, and Mass Comm) and am currently taking Calc and English 101...and Plan on transferring after 60 units.

"how did all these idiots get in?" -- Start by passing your calculus class. Idiot. Starting to realize that 4.0 you were so sure you'd get will actually take some work?

don't listen to what other people say, USC and UCLA are well known top 25 caliber schools, what in the world makes you think it would actually be easy to get into them? also if you feel that you are so far superior to those 3.3-3.8 students why are they at USC and UCLA and you are at a community college????, anything less than a 3.9 from a community college would be looked down upon by both USC and UCLA

I agree with the above post, get it together raise your grade in calculus, start working harder and you will have a chance at USC and UCLA.
