3rd Year Transfer to Georgetown, Chances? How is GU? For Gays?

I'm trying to get in GU from an average 4 year prv liberal arts school. I'll feel like I'll have better rapport at GU, because of the higher level of students and political interest. I'm trying to go in as a business major.

My stats are by no means GREAT, but I have awesome extra curriculars.

HS GPA 3.3
SAT 1280

College GPA 3.54
Will have taken 22 classes

EC: Just got Student Body President, play a varsity sport, Student rep on Dean Search Committee, RA, Class Prez, the list goes on.

How do you think my chances are? I've got 3 great recs that were sent, including one from our college president.

Also, how is GU? The only negative I've heard is that everyone's stuck up or didn't get into an Ivy League? I'm gay too, so I don't know how that will go over, but it's D.C., so it can't be that bad.

Thanks!

Your GPA could be a little higher, although your extracurriculars are looking good. I have heard some say that Georgetown tends to be on the conservative side. Would anyone else like to comment on this?
