So I applied to UT Austin at the beginning of January and just got my ID to start checking my status online.. and I do it obsessively. Does anyone know when I should expect a decision?
Anyways, I am trying to transfer from Texas Tech I have four As and a B. My GPA at Tech came out to 3.812.. chances anyone? I am going for Advertising.
You should expect a decision about 2 weeks after you send in your final Spring semester transcripts. So you should know by mid to late-May if you got in.
With a 3.8, I'd say you have a very good shot at Adverising (School of Communications)
Advertising is actually a extremely tough major to get into, do you have a portfolio of sorts that you can send them? I heard that in majors like advertising it really helps.
