@1939Grave - Here's a link about transfer credit, specifically with AP credit and pre req information that may be fulfilled via AP credits. Hope it helps!

Good luck to all applicants for 2010. It's a long process, but it will certainly be worth it if you re accepted. I wish you all the best.

First off, good luck to all for 2010! As I've noticed with the previous 2009 transfers, plenty of people get to know each other through these types of threads since the transfer process is lengthy. In the end, I think it's best to always find other transfer students who are as determined as the next to get it in. The reason why I say this is because when it comes to aspects such as group projects and the like, it is mostly transfer students who will work just as hard and will compliment, reciprocate and share your work ethic. And heck, if you aren't the same major, at least you've found a possible roommate.

Anyways, here is hoping to getting to know you all a little better!

skyline! well said
im a fall 09 transfer, and got to know the guy who'll be my roomie for this year, in the FALL 09 thread not to mention ive 'met' a lot of others, so before even getting to sc, ill at least know a few ppl, so thats awesome

i also agree with the work ethic thing, im fairly sure a lot of the ppl who got into SC as freshmen, have now started slacking and are not working as hard as they did in HS, while all transfers have been doing to recently so that we could get in i def, think youre right about that as well!

anyway, good luck guys! ill be coming in to this thread from time to time hopefully we'll see each other on campus next year

Accepted transfer student

I've been offered admissions to USC for the Fall09 semester (from a community college). However, I rejected the offer because I've also been accepted to other highest competitive universities.

I wrote an essay that was used specifically for USC. If anyone is interested, PM me, and I will send it to you (include your e-mail).

For transfer student, USC doesn't require letter of recommendation and SAT score. Since I still have to send letters to other colleges, it won't hurt to send to USC also. Thus, I sent an e-mail to USC admissions staff and asked if I could submit a letter of recc. He told me to send it to him, and I did.

Hope you guys can get in if apply for next academic year

Things like these get me excited being a USC hopeful and knowing that I'm not alone in the process.

As for myself, I will also be applying for Fall 2010 transfer. This will be my first time to applying anywhere and USC is my only and definite choice -- mainly for their focuses in their Business Administration program such as Corporate Finance or Financial Analysis & Valuation. Additionally, I've visited the campus and love the area, the people and the feeling of a collective Trojan family.

I just submitted my Part I application and even though I haven't taken a look at Part II I legitimately think I have a shot. The only question I have though: Is what factors influence the acceptance of Sophomore Transfers?
