Hi I am currently a sophmore at UMass Lowell, in my 1st semester I had a GPA of 3.04, and 2nd smester i had a GPA of 2.89. I know that to get into UMass Amherst i will need to improve my GPA, i was just what you thought my chances were. Also i may be getting a letter of reccomendation from a Massachusetts State Rep. I was also wondering if already being a part of the Umass system was of any advantage?


On a sidenote I am a business major and have done very well in all my business classes (my lower grades have occured in the GenEd's) and was wondering if the admissions office considers things like that?
