How do you guys get in touch with a professor to a point where they can write a great/good recommendation for you?
What do you guys do outside of class, or in, to stand out in your professor's eyes?
How do you get good letters of rec?

These three questions may more or less be of the same thing, but I'm just thinking out loud.

I seem to have somewhat of a connection with my current math professor, but I don't think its at the point of where he would be writing in my letter of rec that I am the greatest student he's ever had in his entire career.
