Chances of getting into JMU from NVCC

Hi, im currently in virginia's community college system 2 semesters away from graduating (including current semester)

now JMU and my CC has a guaranteed agreements program which so far I qualify for, however i just want to get in as early as I can. (i wont be able to apply til the deadline for fall2010 is over anyways)

i have a 3.19GPA here at CC

my high school GPA was rediculous, 1.6something

I have previous military experience with a nice stack of recommendations from my superiors.

the guaranteed admissions agreement between my current school and JMU is 3.0 GPA, all my courses will transfer as i've been following their guideline since i started college.

what are my chances of getting in without enrolling as a junior under the guaranteed admissions agreement?

Guaranteed transfer agreement means you WILL get in as long as you fulfill all the listed requirements. It is most probably also written in the agreement description.

well these replies are comforting.

Yea, i can pretty much get in with the guaranteed agreement but I just wanted to get there earlier and not have to wait another year.

thanks, submitting the app now.

Any other colleges I should apply to to broaden my selection?

out of many of the top schools I "think" I might have a shot at

ohio state
maybe Northeastern.
