My S is the student, not international, he has not heard anything, starting to wonder if they will got to the waitlist.

No idea; at first, I thought the letter seemed to suggest that once a spot opened up, I would be in but after I got my head straight, I realized it didn't really suggest anything. I'm not international either.

has anyone heard any news about the waitlist at Trinity since they sent the email confirming if you still wanted to hold a spot? Any updates if they are going to start taking kids off if they are?

Got a letter yesterday, which was dated July 3rd, 2012. First rejection here from the waitlist I guess? "It is finally clear, however, that the class remains filled and, consequently, we are unable to give any further consideration to your application." Hopefully you guys have some luck!
