This forum is dead, lets liven it up a bit.

What does everyone want to major in?

Cognitive psychology, and if they have neuropsychology, maybe the latter.

Mia: I'm not sure if I'll end up here, cost will probably be the deciding factor which is making me lean towards UConn, but you never know. I actually did a job shadow here with the professors in the Classics department when my guidance counselor recommended it, and it really made me want to apply.

I haven't thought about gstudies, but I don't think I'll try the cities program. Is g studies invitation only? I know cities is.

Guided Studies is by invitation only and operates like an honors program. It is a real gem at Trinity. You will have eight of the best classes in the humanities, will be guaranteed to get in with no scheduling problems, and have some of the best professors at the college. Students are intellectually engaged and you will get to know them well doing the core courses. It's a great fit with classics!

ClassicsKid: Sucks. Maybe you'll get a nice Fin.Aid package or lots of scholarships

TrinGrad: Did you participate in it? Any advice you can give?

Just to give you a heads up, Classics might not be a major much longer. They are considering eliminating it and replacing it with an interdisciplinary program.

College's Classics Department Faces Possible Changes in Future - News

I have to say that majors at Trinity are very much hit or miss. There are very strong departments, and then there are those that are neglected and lack cohesiveness. It's unfortunate, but it's true.
