should i room with two or three other guys in the same room?

I'm going to be a transfer student from stlcc and im lookin at my housing options at truman. I definitely want to be in a coed dorm and I was thinking either centennial or missouri hall, maybe ryle. I'm also considering if I should room with two or three other guys. Is this a good idea? I'm an outgoing person and I'm lookin forward to making a lot of friends and being very socialable. So please tell me your advice, help a brotha out!!!

Frankly, just being in the dorm is pretty social, and it is hard enough living in one room with one other person. I didn't know they still did 3 or 4 in one room. A suite, sure, but not one room.

LOL, yeah, Truman doesn't get a lot of traffic on CC. I think that is a function of being a more regional school and the students applying there pretty much already knowing what they want.

No I am not a student there. I am a Tulane alum and post a lot on those threads. My son is a senior at Truman graduating this year. He has really enjoyed the school and gotten a great education. One complaint is that 4 years in such a small town like Kirksville is a bit much, but even that is a relatively small complaint. It helped a lot that he had a car the whole time. He enjoyed the dorms a lot (Missouri Hall) and I have to say I was impressed with how nice they are. Oh, his other complaint, bigger than the Kirksville one probably, is that the food is only so-so. But overall he would give Truman a very positive review. He definitely had some opportunities there that would have been far less likely at bigger schools.

That's awesome, thanks for the insight. You have really cleared up some of my anxieties and doubts I used to have about Truman. I'm even more excited about it, hearing that your son enjoyed being a student there despite the food and rural campus. Is your son going to grad school after he graduates this year?

He is undecided between law school and grad school, so he took both the LSAT and the GRE. He did very well on both, over 90th percentile. He found some law schools that actually offer dual degrees (JD and MA) in his field, so that is what he is focusing on most.
