A Few Questions

Tufts is the top of my list right now, I think I will apply ED, I have some questions about it
-Will my first quarter grades from senior year be on my transcript/contribute to my GPA (hoping they will)?
-I am taking the October ACT and I know I can send in my scores whenever I get them, but do I send in my score from before first?
-If I have a letter of rec. from my French teacher is that okay? Or does it need to be from a core class (science, math, social studies, English)?
-Is there any difference between ED 1 and ED 2?
I think I had more but I can't remember them, thanks to anybody who answers!

The only difference between ED 1 and 2 is that ED 2 allows you more time to be 110% sure that Tufts is where you will be happy and where you absolutely want to go. I'd assume that both equally help in the decisions process.

I guess the letter of rec. from a French teacher wouldn't hurt. I know my HS made us get one from an English teacher and one from a math/science teacher. But if you feel that your French teacher would write the best about you, then I would do that.

I don't know the answer to your first question, and i didn't understand your second question :-/ Good luck!

First quarter grades count, so make them good.
If you're using the ACT, you can pick which score to send, so I recommend waiting until you know how you did and then sending in only your best score.
