No. It's incredibly diverse. You'll see students from each end of the spectrum.

Compared to a school like Boston College? Not as much. Compared to a public university like San Francisco State Univ? yes.

hey, as a current student here , i can attest that tufts is incredibly diverse. there's def a noticeable percentage of students who attended nyc prep or new england boarding schools, but the reality is that you'll find that at any highly-ranked private university--- but this is not a scene like at other schools.

I don't think so, or at least that hasn't been my experience here. True, there are some very rich people, but there is a large amount on financial aid, and unlike other schools, social life does not entirely revolve around money.
