So.....I just walked into my DD's room and she was checking Gibson. We never really discussed it but she just told me she is checking Gibson like 4 or 5 times a day! I thought I was the only obsessed one in the family.
She is dying to find out about Tulane but just found out she was accepted to our state school which is tied for her 2nd choice. ( Big 10 Rah Rah type school- not the type I see her at or she sees herself at but when she gets nervous about going far away sounds appealing.) I hope she hears from Tulane soon!!

If he gets deferred I think we'll go down there to see the school and also so he can speak one-on-one with someone. A friend suggested we plan a trip down now, but it might be a waste (if the decision has already been made). I realize it's only a month at most, but it's very hard to get him to even consider another school until he knows for sure.

Hi All - My DD received the Leadership Award for 8K. We are so happy to be accepted and of course happy to receive the scholarship dollars.

Yes, my husband and DD will be flying down for the weekend in 2 weeks (11/30). I wish I could go but we have another daughter at home.

Wuhandrummer - thanks! My D's stats... ACT 30, 3.55 UW, 4.4 W, lots of ECs, DECA nat'l finalist, NHS, did Why Tulane essay and will visit campus at the end of the month. Only took 2 AP classes, 5 in AP Psych and currently taking AP Env Science.
