What if I fail a class before transfer?

I am studying in a quarter system school, my current GPA should have a pretty good chance to get into UCLA/Berkeley. But now I am taking a Math class which might possible to fail.

My question is What if I failed that? Can I retake in again in spring? Will they (especially UCLA/UCB) reject me immediately if I fail a class this winter?

I am so worry but I will try my best to pass it.

drop it! won't that kill your gpa? I'm assuming it's at least 4 or 5 units.

i was in your situation too.. Stats for winter semester.. thought i was going to fail since i got a D and an F my first two tests... i was going to drop.. but I said NO and i studied my ass off and aced the next two tests... and passed the class with a B! Alot of sacrifice and help my friends did the work.

LA/B will rescind you for failing a class.
