@ socali909: Nice! I was trying to go to SMC for a semester because apparently SMC offered an Anthro prereq for UCLA that no other CC offered. But as a new student it would have been impossible to get the class.
omgomg I really hope I get accepted tomorrow, UCI's my #1 school. I should've been guaranteed in with TAG (Meet all the requirements) but TAG got voided cause I changed my major after turning in the application. Still have hopes though! =D
Is there any reason why you guys are saying about tomorrow, 3/14? I mean most of you know about this better than I do, so I'm simply asking if there was any official announcement saying UCI will send out official admissions tomorrow.
As an applicant, I'm extremely nervous since UCI is my #1 school as well. (Mostly because I live in Irvine, and I wish to stay here.) Best luck to all of you!
Well wouldn't it be tonight then? Last week decisions came out in the early hours of Wednesday at around 3 in the morning (this is when some people got the email).
So I am holding out hope for decisions possibly coming out in a couple hours =/ I REALLY need this..
@ allfieldsarereq why do you want to transfer out of sb? if you dont mind me asking. I always thought UCI and UCSB were pretty much neck to neck in terms of quality of education n stuff excluding sb's party scene of course. wouldn't it be moving sideways?
I guess it depends on what you're comparing and who you ask.
SB just doesn't feel right for me. I'd stay here if I had to. I never had UCI as an option before as they rejected me out of high school so it's not like I chose SB over UCI and am now changing my mind.
I think Irvine would be a better fit. Also, it's closer to home and I'd be able to get an apartment with a friend.
