SJSU CS requires two semesters of physics and one more science course. Couldn't you take two semesters (or three quarters) of physics next academic year, and use the chemistry course you have already taken as the additional science course?

Physics may actually be more useful for CS, if you go into something like software development for games or engineering applications.

As being someone who definitely contributed to the whole UC/CSU transfer admission hysteria. One of my top reasons for transfer admissions being more competitive next year is the bottleneck effect that is being created at the CCC level by budget cuts, leading to significantly less classes, meaning more competition to get said classes, leading to what used to be the 2year JuCo pit stop to the 3-4+ year JuCo experience....

I was in the same position as you last year. coming off summer classes i had a 3.20 and after wall semester i was able to pull it up to a 3.33. I would say aim for UCI + UCSC for your uc. CSU LB + Both cal poly and keep up the work through fall atleast to increase your chance. also for spring don't do what i did xD and try to power through the remaining 1 semester you have.

For uc stuff. Last year i applied to UCD,UCSC,UCI,UCSD i got rejected from UCD, Waitlisted @ uci(got in), ucsd(nope), and ucsc(got in).
the tag process for ucsc was great until alot of us CCer got denied to baskin and were ask to apply for general admit. Drove a few of us insane and we didn't get our letters until mid may. So you might wanna look up their 7 foundation course for comp sci to see how close you are to completing them. I'm going to say i got very lucky this year with uci doing a holistic review since my Personal statement and experience was aimed specifically @ ucsc and uci computer game science major.
