UC 1 year Transfer + Transcript Academic Renewal

I am between a rock and a hard place right now.

I'm currently trying to do the 1 year transfer route. Everything's pretty good, I'm doing well in my classes. But then I realized... I took a course when I was in High School and I got a D in Adv Algebra.
And that would drag my GPA down below the UC app minimum.

So my solution would be academic renewal. But the problem is that I can't exactly have the the grade renewed until next semester (I'm positive that my grade would raise by at least a grade point average, so a 3. something by then), by then the UC apps deadline would be passed.

So for my class records should I just put that Adv Algebra course as Academic Renewal even if it isn't at this moment? It should work if They ask for my transcript after they considered my application.

PS:
HS: 4 Credits with the D
Summer: 7 Credits
Fall: 26 Credits
My grades are going to raise pretty dramatically.

Is the class UC-transferable? Because if it isn't, it doesn't matter.

@LAforlife Sadly it is transferable. All my credits are transferable courses.

Hmm. You really are between a rock and a hard place. Are you absolutely positive that you will have it AR-ed, and for sure it will be by the end of Fall? If you are absolutely sure that you will have it AR by the end of Fall, you might want to put it down as AR, but only if you are absolutely sure it will be. If they do ask for your transcript, it will only be a problem if they ask for it before the end of Fall. If they ask for it after that, you should be fine as long you will in fact have it AR-ed. If they do ask for it before the end of Fall, you could always plead ignorance and say that you thought that you could put it down as "AR" because you would have it by the end of Fall. There is definitely some risk involved you do this, but it's up to you.
