Multiple Choice Exams

This is my 1st quarter at ucla as a junior and all of my classes have exams that are short and long answers..none of the exams are ever multiple choice. Is this what I should expect for the future? My previous college always used multiple choice exams excluding math classes so it's pretty weird.

Thanks all.

As a philosophy major? Yeah I would expect all essay tests.

From what I hear from other transfers, yes, a lot of the tests are short answers.

I've taken two philosophy classes while in CC with different teachers. Both class they were all pretty much short and long answer tests.

What math did you take at cc?

all of my upper div courses at UC have either had no final, or a final made up of all short answer/essay questions. all of my lower divs at a UC and all of my community college courses have been a mix of multiple choice and short answer/essay.

it's much more weird that you did 60 units of lower division work and never encountered a test with short answer questions.
