PTK Questions

I just finished English 100, and took the final today for Business 100... I will soon have 2 A's! This means I have 6 semester credits, when do I get an invitation to PTK?

Also, what do you do at PTK meetings? And also how do you go about becomming president, or at least holding an office? I know nothing about it, and would like to be somewhat prepared.

Thanks.

Phi Theta Kappa, PTK doesn't mean anything sorry. They are greek letters (I know I am a stickler, but as an ex officer I can't see that and be okay with it). There are the main requirements such as an amount of units needed to be complete and the 3.5 GPA minimum. I reckon you should be seeing an invitation with a 60-77 dollar membership fee- it is worth it if you utilize Phi Theta Kappa. Officers are usually elected at the start of each year, though in our case it is at the end of the previous year when the next set of officers are elected.

I recommend you seek out the Adviser and express your interest in the organization, and please be prepared to do something because useless members are so useless-I know, and that way you can be in a better position ot run. Good luck, and do something cool-exciting-invigorating.
