SAT or SAT II needed as transfer? Should I take a chance at applying to UCs?
Do you need to take SAT or SAT II to transfer to UCs? I only completed SAT and one subject for SAT II in High School. (Year ago)
I'm contemplating about applying to UCLA and Cal for the hell of it, even tho I'm going to USC this Jan 2008. I LOVE USC, but I'm worried about the debt I will incur since I didn't qualify for any financial aid.
Stats: CCC 3.76 GPA and 38 units completed (one year). Poli Sci Major.
I completed 38 units in a year at CC. I'm going to CC for fall semester and completing another 15 units. I will then go to USC for spring semester because they only admitted me for that term. I think (i could be wrong) that UCs will base their decision off of the 53 units completed (@ CC) and not the 15 units I will be taking at USC during the spring term. Make any sense? That way, I have a chance to enjoy your misery @ UCLA.
What if I don't even get into UCLA or Cal, and I rejected USC. I wud be screwed. My heart is at USC and has been for my entire life. Just the financial situation is gonna be tricky. Lots of debts!
If you love USC, stay at USC. Find ways to pay for your tuition, like a part time job or something. And even if you haev debt, it would be worth it because you went to a school that you love. For debts, it's not like you're paying a large chunk of your income every month for it. You'll still be living fine. And after you get your degree from USC, I am sure you're not going to be working with a low wage job.
