| It's a honors program offered at certain California Community Colleges which if completed, UCLA will give you higher priority to be accepted. I think they accept like 90% (could be way off) of the applicants who complete TAP. |

| CCC: Merced Community College
Applying to: UCB, UCLA, UCI, UCD
Major: History
GPA: 3.81
IGETC: complete by spring
No EC's : (
I'm wondering if I should even bother with EC's. I think I have more life experience than the average transfer, being 24 years old and serving 4 years in the Marine Corps. What do you guys think, should I still try to get some EC's into my application? |

| the other day i asked my counselor about the letter of recommendation, and he said that they dont ask for it and that if you send it they dont even look at it, so there is no point.
But i forgot to ask him, and you guys might know the answer to it.......can we write about the volunteer work we did in high school or the clubs we were in. Or do we only write things that what we did in college?? |

| It does, but it's pretty much "applied biology" at this point in time. UCSD has a much more coherent bioengineering program. |
