if for instance, i apply to all the UCs for transfer and have a 3.9 gpa. will i possibly get rejected by my safeties because of the fact that they might suspect that i won't attend if i were admitted?
first of all the other schools won't know if you got admitted to others. They all will recieve your application as if you are planning to go their school. Once they notify you of your admission they will ask you if you will accept their offer of admission. You can only accept the offer from one UC school. There isn't any harm in applying to all UCs. I had a friend who appplied to 5 UC schools and managed to get accepted by all of them, but chose to go to UCLA.
