different schools want different things, for example uci i think said that you needed to have 54 units completed for by summer to apply for winter, and davis said you need a minimum 3.0 to apply, but almost every transfer counselor always stress completing the 2 English courses and one math for for igetc first even though i never ask. Anyways i have 45 transferable units right now and taking 15 in the fall to get 60. I applied for winter for UCR, UCSC, AND UCSB, my major is communications but only UCSB has it and was open for winter, SD, LA, Berkley were closed for winter. I attended summer school the whole summer and the last month was tough caused i took a sociology class that i had to write a paper and do a group research project along with working on my personal statement for the Uv which i must of revised many times, also the application is a long process, and all the papers and the final and the application/personal statement was all due the same day

When you say transfer with a gpa below 3.0, do you mean at the time you are applying? At the time of the grade update in January? Or the GPA you have at the end of the spring/cumulative???
