Do I have to transfer all of my courses?
I don't need some of the courses I took as a freshman that I got C's in and I will still have completed the IGETC. I would have a 4.0 if there is some way I can get around transferring these two classes.
Anyone know if this is possible?

If they're UC transferrable, then yes, you have to report them on your UC Application. Even if they're not, just report them, better to be honest and not have it bite you in the back later on.

SO does that mean that the TAP and TAG doesn't help that much ? I mean that you will still be fine if you dont have them right? another question, when do u turn in ur app for transfering from ccc to ucs (example, UCSD)? I heard that u are suppose to turn in two years before u actually get in? and how do they count the years that people are enroll in CCC? since I am a HS student, but I goes to CCC at the same time, so... does it still work the same way??

How many semesters of foreign language do I have to complete? If I got over 700 in a foreign language on the SATII would it be enough?

@amy82425 TAG is a contract between you and the school. If you meet the required units and abide to the contract, then it is a GUARANTEE that you will be accepted for admission at the school. Berkeley and UCLA do not have TAGs.
TAP gives you priority, when they look at your application, etc. TAP is only for UCLA and Berkeley (in some CCCs)
TAGs are supposed to be turned in depending on whichever quarter/semester you want to apply for. Usually due by the end of October...make sure your counselor helps you with that, it needs their signature. (Prior to fall semester).
@Sephorazn18 Two years of high school study in the same language. Some CCCs take SAT II credit, mine didn't, so I wouldn't know. Ask a counselor.
Good luck! [:

If it takes you that long to complete the degree, then yeah. Most transfers get out in two and a half years.

Based off of the first post in this thread, I see that UCs don't look at SAT/ACT scores for transfers. However, do they also not look at high school transcripts? If so, is there a point in which they stop looking at high school transcripts, such as when a person reaches 30 or 60 credits?

I'm an international student going to UCB through EAP, need help!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello! I'm from Korea and I was selected to go for exchange in UC Berkeley (through reciprocal EAP) from this fall..Now I'm a sophomore majoring in Econ, and will become a senior next semester.
I very much like US and want to pursue my education there. So I've got this idea that if I can make it to transfer to UCB, rather than just go there for a year..I searched for that but hardly found anything really helps.
I'm wondering is there any international transfer students in UC who went through EAP first? Or,,do you have any idea what I should do now?
Thanks a lot!^^

If you have past the 60 unit mark (remember, the 60 units is the MINIMUM). You can have a maximum of 80 units. If you have completed both (or however many years) at your Community college, then there is no limit.
Good luck.

Hi I'm kinda confused here. Can I transfer from a CC to a UC in my sophomore year? Also, what is the maximum units i can take in one semester? If I want to transfer to a UC in my sophomore year, does it mean I have to complete 60 units in one year?
Thank u!

Yes you can. One of my friends from high school completely forgot about the UC application deadline and ended up not completing it on time (I know...>__<;; ) so she went to our nearby CCC for a year and then transferred up to Berkeley. It's much harder to apply for sophomore status because they take into consideration your high school stuff too. She had awesome SATs, AP classes, ECs so she was set. It would be easier if you went in for junior status, where YES you DO have to complete a minimum of 60 units.
Hope it helps! [:

I currently attend UCLA but Im going to drop out and want to go to a community college for a few reasons. I want to go to a community college out of state. So if I apply to UC later on will I be considered out of state?
Thanks
