Help needed

I am a ccc student who intend to transfer to uc, and I used to tell by advisor that i do not need PE class and language, but today my classmate mentioned another advisor told him we need PE class. can any one here clear it? thanks
PS my major is bio, and i do not plan to fulfill GE cause i am a lasy guy.

PE is not required nor recommended (short of a sport), but IGETC is.

Thanks for your kindly help. becaue my major is biology which belongs to natural science, i do not need IGETC.

Oh ok, yea I guess if you fulfill the given departments reqs it's fine. But, if you apply to more than one school, reqs tend to vary. And that is when completing the IGETC is imperative.

I see what you means here, and i cheched the assist.org, it says no to IGETC in every campus except for UCI. However, to UCI it is still not rec, so i think it is not a big deal. Thank you for your remind.
By the way, Ektaylor, do you transfer in next fall as well?

Some community colleges require you to have taken a P.E. class to get your A.A. degree but it is not needed to transfer.
