Damn Foreign Language! What are my options now

According to the berkeley check list my three options are:

Option 1: 3 years of one high school foreign language:

Option 2: 2nd semester college level foreign language:

Option 3: Foreign Language Exam
Examination

Obviously number one is too late.
I already took the spanish test and tested into spanish one which I took in fall quarter.

Now my only option as I see it is to complete spanish 2 and 3 this quarter and spring quarter. The only problem is that spanish 2 is filled up and the community colleges near by conflict with my current schedule. From my knowledge is seems that all courses must be completed by spring which means summer is out of the question. So what am I left to do?

DoubleorNothing:

One other possibility is to complete IGETC. This will only help you, though, if you happened to have taken 2 years of the same foreign language in highschool, as IGETC only requires 2.

You could also try crashing your Spanish class, you might be able to get in.

Yes, it's only for community college. Sorry, I figured you were CCC.

Yes, another foreign language thread. I am confused. If we did take foreign language in high school, how would the college we are applying to know that we took it in high school if we do not have to send in our high school transcripts?

If you're going to satisfy Berkeley's L&S Breadth requirement with high school classes, then you will have to send in your high school transcripts. Likewise, if you're using them to satisfy your IGETC foreign language requirement then you'll have to give your high school transcripts to your CCC.

Remember to not get UC graduation requirements confused with UC Admissions Requirements. I'm not familiar with UCB's admissions requirements so it could be possible that Language Other Than English is a requirement for admissions but, I would contact UCB to make sure.
