myBerkeleyApplication. scary ~_~

written big and bold
"Misrepresenting your academic information will result in the cancellation of your Berkeley application."
that was on the resume section.

isn't it scary even if u don't do anything fishy?
its like a grumpy teacher going into a 2nd grade class and threatening to start spankin if someone misbehaves.

thoughts? comments?

After seeing all the remorse and scrambling by those who submitted their original application hastily...I'm not surprised they worded it that way. Good for them if you ask me!

<-- read over his application carefully. didn't suffer from applicant's remorse afterward.

I also see it from the perspective that applicants should be able to easily follow simple directions if they're applying to UC.

But to be honest, I think they're really directing that toward people who are debating whether they should falsify their record or not, in order to better their chances.

for IGETC followers, in the myBerkeleyApplication website, if you took 3 years of foreign language in highschool, do you still fill out the grades and course name and stuff in the section they provide?

I thought the myberk app was scary too. I took 2 years of the same foreign language in high school, c and higher in it all, so my counselors always said I met the pre req for the igetc. But on my berk there's a box that says check if you have done 3 years, which I haven't. I'll just leave it blank because I have not completed it, but it still made me apprehensive.

sunkissed,

I think that's terrible placement for the question, but don't worry you're completely covered. (;
