I'm right there with you man. I'm fulfilling my second level composition requirement this winter. I was totally dreading it, because I've already done a second level composition class (in another state) and I totally hate writing humanities essays. BUT, it turns out for this class there's only two 3-4 page essays a couple smaller assignments, not nearly as gruesome as my other class.

Good luck,
Joe

My winter Statistics class started on January 2nd, and so far we have gone through chapters 1-7, taken our first test and the 2nd test is on tuesday.

Everyday is 3 hours of lecture and we go over 1-2 chapters of material each class session, which by the way we only meet 13 times total.

It's super accelerated but I really think the pacing makes it easier because there's less time to slack off and forget the material. Getting an entire statistics course done over a 3 and a half week break where I wouldn't be doing anything anyways is awesome.

<3 winter session

That's weird, our Winter quarter session is a regular, if not the longest session of the year (Jan 7 - March 31). Our summer session is about 5 weeks though.

My school is on the semester system and has no classes during the winter break. I would love to get some of my pre-requisites over with in short order, but I can only do that in Summer. : (
