Inconsistency in original app and app update

Hello everyone.
On my original UC application I had planned to take a math course (engineering statistics) which I ended up dropping this winter quarter. However, dropping this course does not affect my plan in finishing my major prerequisites, as long as I stick to my plan and take discrete math in the coming spring quarter. So my question is: on my application update, other then removing the original planned course from the list, do I have to explain the reasons for which I drop the course in the comment box?

Thanks in advance.

The period for updating your app. is still concurrent, so I see no reason why you can't make that change online, through the designated website. I would suggest that you fix this as early as you can.

Unless you were specifically contracted to take the course, from a Transfer Admissions Guarantee (TAG) contract or something similar, you should not need to explain the changes in coursework. You would only need to explain if you are not completing any courses for the term.
