When To Register or Enroll at Community College!!!

So you're a senior in high school, when are you suppose to register for community college? Do you register after graduation, before? What if you want to take summer classes?

You should be able to register for summer session right now depending on the CC. You can't enroll in classes until about a month before the session starts. I'd check the campus's website and go from there.

You should do it now. Most community colleges accept applications year round. To register for summer classes you'll have to wait a couple more months tho but it's better to get orientations and financial aid issues out of the way. Besides you'll have to take and Enlgihs and Math placement test, so it really is best to start early to make sure that you get your classes on time and for sure. Best of luck.

From another thread that you made, it seems that you will be taking courses at De Anza College. I took courses there for the spring quarter as a second semester senior in high school. Just register for classes and get some forms signed from your high school. If you don't know how to go about doing that, go to your high school registrar and ask.

I don't know much about full-time enrollment at De Anza, but there is some orientation for it. Make sure to take your placement exams for literature, math, science, and such.

Thanks much to those who replied. So im guessing from the advice given, apply early, and take placement tests. I would apply to de anza for right now but my counseling office is really against students taking college courses, even to get a formed signed is really annoying. I'll just apply when i finish financial aid
