| If they got your residency status wrong I would think that they made a mistake. You really should follow up.
A similar thing happened to my boyfriend with UC Irvine, and he ended up being accepted a couple weeks after getting a rejection. |

| I seriously don't know... I just sent my official transcript a few days ago. My assumption for their rejection is because they see that I will not be taking classes that will fulfill the oral communication and critical thinking. However, the reality is that I will be completing those two classes. |

| That IS exactly what happened with him. Irvine sent him an e-mail asking why he hadn't fulfilled a major prereq when he had, in fact, completed it. When he sent them an e-mail stating this he never got a response. He later got an e-mail saying that he was rejected for not completing the requirement and for not responding to the e-mail.
A couple weeks later, he got a letter saying that his appeal was accepted and he was in. However, he had never appealed their decision. |

| The residency status, I believe it is their fault. However, about the classes that I stated that I won't be taking is my fault.
Does any of you know whether or not they do appeal? I am thinking about doing it because I don't really want to pay the application fee again for summer quarter. However, if thats not possible, I guess I wwould just re apply =(

| I also got into SDSU (Geography)!
Now, a question about timing and the intent to enroll:
I'm waiting for my acceptance to UC Berkeley. According to UCB, the transfer decisions will be announced on April 30. SDSU requires the intent to enroll and "non-refundable" deposit to be submitted by May 1. There is no guarantee I'll be accepted to UCB, but it is my first choice. Is anyone else in this situation? What do I do, send my deposit to SDSU and just eat the cost if I am accepted to Cal and decide to go there? Uff... |

| I got a letter from SFSU about 3 weeks ago telling me that I hadn't fulfilled their requirements for admission so they offered me a refund for the app fee. I was really surprsied that they would not look at my application just because I haven't taken health and speech but then I went to their website and saw that they do require that those courses were specifically required for admission.
I got into CSULA, they never sent me anything but I checked at their website. |
