Commencement anyone?

Who's going to their ccc's commencement ceremony? Now I know why some would not even consider the idea. I for one was initially not diggin it, but my mom convinced me that it would be sorta cool (another oppotunity to spend time with fam before im out). I mean it's not like a b.a. but, but i've put 2 years of my academic career towards it, so why not?

I got my first AA (photography) from another school and went to it. My family wanted to go. It was nice because it brought some closure and acknowledgement for my efforts. I didn't initially want to go nor did I enjoy it. I certainly won't go to this next one. It's like getting married twice..what the hell am I doing with another AA...almost shameful.

I would, but I'm not going to simply for the fact that I don't want it to take away from when I graduate from UC.

At first I didn't have plans on going to the ceremony. I still have my B.A. graduation and my Law School graduation. This would be just another graduation. However, since I am in honors, I will be receiving special regalia. Just for that I may go.

You just have to look at this as a milestone. You should celebrate at the end of every semester. You have already gone farther than most people. You are one step further in completion of your goal. Celebrate it!
