So I got into UC Santa Cruz!
Yeah... if you remember me posting in the beginning you could tell Santa Cruz was my first choice.... (hence the user name) and I just checked the website and I have been officially admitted. I'm stoked as **** because I was admitted from a CSU school (SDSU) with a 3.34 GPA psychology major. Anyway, I'm typing this drunk as **** on a friday night... back from a party with the greatest news. I hope the rest of you the best of luck to your school of choice.

My friend has a 3.0 gpa, all prereqs finished and IGETC from a community college, but he didn't get into UCSC. I'm so confused. He said the average gpa was 3.3; that's a bit high since a davis rep told me last year's average for ucsd and ucd were 2.8. Now I'm worried, I have a 3.3 and I didn't apply to UCSC, just Davis, San Diego, LA and Berkeley for Sociology; ugh what if I don't get in.

I got in to UCSC as well. Maybe I'll see you there.

I'm still waiting to see if I get accepted in to UCSB, but even if I do I'll probably go to Santa Cruz.

Congrats! I got into UCSC too. It's the first school I've heard anything from. I'm still waiting on UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCI, and UCD.

Hey samK did they send your friend a rejection letter? I didn't think they did that until much later.

Yeah, they sent him one yesterday, or Friday, not sure. He got rejected and they sent him a link to how many people got admitted and some other stuff.
