what makes you get to hear your admission decision before others?
this is 1 part i never get.
do they review by last name and w/e the decide within the week they release?
does it go by eligibility of pre reqs?
grades?
your college area, district or outta state?
how early you submit your application?
what in the world then... does anyone have a clue?

I'm trying to figure this out too... Cause my friend got into Davis as an Economics major... (I'm a Biology major), so I was wondering if it's by majors, etc.?

It's based on the last digit of your social security number along with the last letter of the city of birth

I don't even dare to say that I know how the admissions process works but so far everyone that has got accepted so far I believe they are all social science majors.

Login and go to campus choices. Mine were sent in on 12/28 and I've heard from UCSD but not UCI, UCLA or UCSB.

I don't think its date received because I sent my application in on the last day and submitted my update on the last day and also updated my update after the priority deadline.

12/28? thats kinda late
mine were sent in 11/28
mayB the later u send it in the earlier its decided
its like turning in an assignment
the last one to be turned in would be graded first >_>

otherwise is it possible paper applications and reviewed first?
meh too many possibilities
anyone wanna be the sacrificial sheep and call them up? =D

you must be right mattn..

according to that site, mine were sent to campuses on 01/02/08

oh and I havent heard from anywhere yet
