Is there anyone who got in as a sociology major?
It seems like people in social science majors already got in, but mine is still pending....
I have a 4.0 GPA and IGETC done.

Nope, my friend and I are also UCSD Sociology hopefuls. Our gpas aren't quite as high as yours though; mine is only a 3.3 and his a 2.8. I haven't seen anyone on the forum that has gotten into UCSD with Sociology yet, but I have seen some Social Science majors get in with a gpa no lower than 3.6.
"I got into SB, SD, LA under Soc last year with a GPA below a 3.0. Hopefully you've leveraged your 3.3 and 2.8 GPA's with meaningful extra-currics."
Really!? Nice; i've been pondering the thought of changing my major and attending SJSU or some state school. Chose my classes for the last quarter of my CC though, if I don't get into any UC, I'm going to have to drop all of them and pick up State prereq classes.
