igetc and major prereqs

im going to finish my igetc and major prereqs this spring. will this affect my chances of getting accepted to school for this fall?

ive asked a variety of workers but they all had conflicting answers

an ucla rep. told me the more major prereqs you've completed before spring the better chance you get in...

completeing IGETC during the spring will not hurt your chance of admission. For the most part neither will completeing your major prerequisites during the spring prior to transfer. But if you are taking the majority of your major prerequisites in the previous spring before transfer and have no grades to show how well you been doing in your major prerequisite courses it will possibly negatively affect your admission.

If you get accepted with prereqs in progress, they'll probably admit you w/ conditions. That's the only thing I can think of.
