Rooming

How many of you guys know someone at your university or have plans to transfer with some friends and lease a house and split the rent?

If not, what are your plans?

my plan is to get a single dorm room with one other roommate, a complete stranger. I think all of my same sex friends are not even going to make it to the same school that I want to go to (and will hopefully, most likely, get in).

This school is UCLA, btw. Transfer students are given on campus housing, hopefully. Reiber Vista is the place for me.

Can you say, "Co-Ed" dorms?? Heyoh!!! lol

worse comes to worst, I'll live with my male cousin who is going to be a graduate student in ME in the fall at UCLA. My dad will find us a loft to share and possibly share with other grad students. even though i'm not a grad students. what's better than rooming with a bunch of nerds? I'll be forced to study, just to conform, lol.

well, not co-ed dorming (we can't live in the same room) but we can live in the same building, same floor if we all have private bathrooms.

the internet doesn't count.

I wish I knew someone else with whom to room at UCLA.

I wanted to get that "college dorm room experience," but I keep reading that its novelty wears off rather fast and the rooms can get really crowded (no privacy), not to mention having to share the bathroom with who knows how many people

So my preference is for residential suites or university apartments, though I highly doubt I'll get either one and get stuck with a triple in a res hall with a bunch of freshmen

Oh, and if anyone wants to see what they offered transfer in previous years:
2007: UCLA Housing Offer's out, everyone.
2008: UCLA Housing Offers are out!!!
