For my language requirement, I'm planning on using courses I took in high school (three years of Chinese, and As all semesters). Is there a way to make this clear on my UC application? I know that there's a place where you check off whether you're completing IGETC or not, but how do they know you've fulfilled the language requirement if it isn't in your college grades?
you give your CCC your HS transcript, which will show that you took those courses. if you did not take it at a HS, you must go get the academic transcript from whatever school you took them at and give them to your CCC. if you CCC clears you for IGETC, the UC that accepts you wil receive your IGETC verification and you don't have to worry about the language requirement anymore.
