| Dont forget to add in the social aspect of the school.
UCSD is a lot worst socially but college is what you make of it.
I personally would rather go to UCI becuase the management science compared to UCI bus/econ, i dont feel is that huge of a difference, its not like your goin to berkeley haas.
Plus how you do in your job on the future also depends on yourself,
who you know in business, how well you interact with people,
and finding internships and work experience for yourself |

| irvine = close to broadcomm and other big tech companies, so that's something to consider for possible internships and whatnot. i'd also be a bit afraid of being marginalized as a non-sciences major @ sd |

| UCSD has all the pharmaceutical companies. I would say UCSD would most likely be the better choice but whatever school that you like the best I would choose that one. |

| Wait, its a BS is management "science". I thought about that too, but then I thought about how it sounds like a pretty cool degree.... just the name of it. And UCSD is very highly ranked in econ.
Maybe Im biased b/c that what Im transferring into. |

| UCSD really does have a great econ department. Their graduate econ program is ranked 10th in the nation according to US News. And UCLA was ranked 11th. |

| It would be really hard to say because they don't really publish undergraduate program rankings. |

| I remember reading that same statistic Thedude44. But on that same note, Berkeley's grad econ program is 3rd in the nation, while UCLA's undergrad Econ / Busecon is more competitive to get into. Makes things a bit confusing. |

| i would go to UCSD still. management science is under the econ department of UCSD and UCSD has a stellar econ department. I know a person who majored in management science and now works for UBS. I would say Management science is a more diverse field than BizEcon. Just my opinion |
