Sorry, anchor. I'll try to limit my vocabulary to only the 'popular' words next time.

so exactly where in my post did I mention the guy who attempted to rob me was a BUM? In fact he was a well dress African American who owned a cell phone.

I spent a few months last summer at Cal and lived on Durant Ave -- my car was broken into, my wallet was stolen at the movie theater and I was greeted affectionately by the local bums on a daily basis ... yet, I loved my stay there.

which part of berkeley is extremely dangerous? is it the campus or outsuide the campus? would it be safer for me to live in a dorm instead in an apt?

say what you want about crime - it comes with any city environment, but the only thing berkeley stole from me was my heart... swoon...

Don't walk alone near People's Park at night. Just avoid it. Bums in general will not harm you. They're just lonely and desperate for beer. People who you should avoid are Berkeley High students. They're dumb and obnoxious teenagers who do not know the consequences of their actions. As such, a lot of the crimes (theft, robbery, armed robbery) are committed by these high school students.

Did anyone pay attention to the guy that was talking about USC?

Talk about a scary ass place.
I wouldn't even venture near a corner of that campus at night.
