Cal day was pretty cool... there were a lot of seminars, booths, activity... had never roamed the campus before and it really is very impressive.

i go to the city college in berkeley and decided to study at Cal's library and it was MIGHTY hot. today felt like the hottest day ever. there were a lot of trolleys as tour guides and a lot of families that were sight seeing. i saw a lot of sports, recreation, and games going on as well. i couldnt stand the heat though. and there were a lot of visitors roaming the city itself.

It was hot, but that is so rare. I hope that no one was undecided on Cal and decided to go there just because of today's gorgeous weather.

I enjoyed Cal Day. Too much going on, I didn't make it to everything I wanted to do. For one, I didn't find time to tour the library or go to any of the museums. However, I did get to meet the undergrad adviser for my major and one student who chose the same major, she is also a transfer student which was great. The student panels were so-so. I went to one that was more freshman oriented, and to one that was for study abroad (better). I think the best thing was just feeling free to roam the campus at will and taking pictures, and not feeling like a lost dork. Definitely, lots of families with young kids there today, it kind of felt like an amusement park at times.

I toured three co-ops. I can honestly say that Cloyne Court is not my cuppa tea - it is very hippie/counterculture (and dirty/smelly) - but it obviously suits 150 or so people living there. I got really bad allergies at a different co-op, but one, Euclid, was actually quite nice and quiet, for a student co-op, and didn't smell at all.

yea the weather in SF was nice today. Too bad i was sick...

i came out of my house for dinner tho. it was great. i wish i had gone to Cal day -_-
